Galatians 1:10 (NIV)
This is one verse that has impacted me of late. Often I find myself trying to do things for the approval of others; then I catch myself. This was not the way the world was supposed to work! The writer Paul was trying to make sure that the take home message here is that we should not try to do everything so that everyone in our lives is happy. That way you’re always going to be swayed and not form your own belief and stick by it. So what I suggest is to pray. If you’re unsure about something, you do not have to follow the norm and the crowd. Trust me, God’s got something bigger than just the same thing as the next guy. He has a unique purpose for you different from anyone else. All you have to do is step into that and believe it.
